We’re looking for a capable and detail oriented finance assistant to help with day-to-day financial operations within the business.
About Us
Sports Travel Group is a premium sector B2C and B2B tour operator and event organiser. Our three founders have long histories in golf travel, hospitality and events and are seeking to change the way golf travel is presented and consumed. Our global client portfolio includes elite private clubs, leisure and golf tour operators, agents and concierge providers, HNW individuals, private family offices and corporate entities invested in golf.
Our offices are in London, St Andrews, Stockholm, Oslo and Singapore. We have ambitious plans for growth and are looking for people with the same ambition to help us achieve them. Candidates should have experience of working in an accounts department and be confident of working with cloud-based accountancy software.
Job Brief
Candidates should have work experience in accounts, managing payables and receivables among other tasks. A passion for golf and sport is a plus, but by no means essential.
You will work closely with our Business Administrator to support the sales and operations staff to ensure the financial administration of our bookings is closely monitored. Additionally, you’ll work with senior management and our outsourced accountants on a reporting basis.
Responsibilities
Weekly payment run preparation
Prepare sales invoices
Uploading supplier invoices
Reconciliation of accounts and transactions
Payment reporting / chasing
Requirements
Minimum 1 year requirement in an accounts role
Experience working with Xero
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously when required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
