This team receives referrals from the MASH team and conducts statutory assessments for children aged 0-18 and their families. This role also involves conducting Section 47 assessments, wellbeing assessments, and part 4 investigations.Key Responsibilities: Managing the Intake and Assessment Team and the UASC Team
Conducting social worker assessments and investigations
Providing immediate support to children and families as required
Collaborating with external agencies, including joint visits with police
Court work related to safeguarding children
Requirements: Experienced social worker with supervision experience (level 10)
Management experience preferred, but not essential
Ability to drive for home and school visits
Familiarity with various forms of abuse, including FGM and exploitation
Comfortable working in a challenging environment with competing demands
