Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Assistant based within Edinburgh, EH16
This role is to undertake General Maintenance duties within the Hospital.
Available shifts / Locations below:
Monday until Friday (5 days a week)
Postcode: EH16 4SA
08:00-16:00PM
£18.49 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue
Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
Skills and experience required:
Must have at least 2 years previous experience
DBS Required
NVQ Level 3
Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
Able to manage time effectively
Ability to work both alone and in a team
Awareness of health and safety procedures
A good standard of Secondary Education, including Maths and English
Must have experience in the following:
To undertake Planned and Reactive Maintenance within your skillset
Liaise with suppliers to minimise costs whilst keeping good value.
Assist other skilled trades in carrying out maintenance, repairs, testing, inspection and installation work.
Where instructed, carry out minor repairs to the building fabric to ensure the safety and security of the client’s premises, staff and visitors.
Respond in a safe manner to the effects of bad weather, e.g. Snow clearing, gritting, flooding, high winds, etc.
Undertake training to maintain and develop the requirements of the service.
Liaise and undertake duties at other sites in my portfolio.
Ensure Health and Safety policies are followed across all sites.
