We are seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to join our Commercial Department, providing essential support to our 2 specific fee earners and delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will work between the clients fee earners based in Swindon and Marlborough.

The ideal candidate will be adept at managing administrative duties and will contribute to the smooth operation of our legal processes.

Day to Day of the Role: Manage the diary of fee earners, ensuring efficient scheduling and time management.

Prepare files for billing and assist with the financial administration.

Screen incoming calls, directing enquiries and messages appropriately.

Handle correspondence, photocopying, filing, sending faxes, and opening new files.

Sort and prioritise mail, emails, and messages, ensuring timely responses.

Deal with client matters appropriately and provide support across all areas of work.

Prepare and submit stamp duty forms and Land Registry applications.

Deliver a reliable and efficient service to clients, maintaining professionalism and friendliness.

Prepare straightforward legal documents and ensure compliance with LEXCEL & Investors in People standards.

Understand the basic requirements of the Solicitors Accounts Rules affecting financial transactions.
