Air Freight Operator - Responsibilities
Speaking to customers/agents on a daily basis.
Receiving quotation enquiries for Air import and export.
Answering Overseas agent e-mails.
Dealing directly with the Gateway/Airlines to obtain rates
Quotation to customer through RTC
Following up of customer quotations for feedback.
Booking of airfreight consignments with the Gateway - export
Invoicing - sales and purchases
Any other duties commensurate with the position
Growing the airfreight business, contacting potential customers, and engaging with customers on a regular basis
Air Freight Operator - Requirements
You must minimum 2 years Air Freight Experience in IMPORTS and/or EXPORTS
Road and Sea Freight may be considered
Fully understand all processes, documentation and terminologies used in Air Freight
Customs experience desirable but not essential
Able to demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering great service
A real self-starter with lots of enthusiasm and a sense of individuality
