Safer Gambling Supervisor

Our Customer Operations team is evolving, and we are looking for a passionate and personable Safer Gambling Supervisor to lead and manage our Safer Gambling team.
As Safer Gambling Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Safer Gambling team ensuring that our customers receive the necessary tools, support, and guidance to manage their accounts responsibly.

Our headquarters in Wigan is the main hub for our team of over 200 innovative and ambitious experts dedicated to delivering our vision of providing the best betting experience for racing fans. The role will be 37.5 hours per week with a 5 from 7 working pattern so weekend working will be required on a rota basis. The role will be based from our Wigan HQ with approx. 2/3 days per week onsite. A full induction, on the job training and development plan will be put in place for anyone who joins the team.
What you’ll be doing:
Support the implementation and performance of strategies aimed at promoting Safer Gambling practices and mitigating the risks associated with problem gambling
Lead and manage a team of Safer Gambling Officers responsible for identifying customers at risk of problem gambling and providing them with appropriate support and guidance
Provide team members with coaching, training, and guidance to ensure effective performance
Ensure the team upholds strong service level agreements (SLAs) to promptly address customer inquiries on Safer Gambling, enhancing satisfaction and reducing risks
Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure adherence to relevant regulations and develop a culture of continuous improvement
What you’ll need:
Experience of people management ideally within a regulated operational environment
Strong communication skills which can be implemented through all mediums to a varying level of stakeholders
Confidence in making decisions and recommendations with the ability to present to senior management team
Strong influential skills to support the success of the team in meeting SLA’s & KPI’s
Experience in providing detailed analysis and presentation of complex data
