We are currently on the look out for an exciting opportunity at the Novotel and Ibis in Southampton.

We are looking for a full time HR/T&C coordinator working 40 hours a week (169 hours per month) across our combo hotels here in Southampton.
Recruitment
Creating job adverts and attracting new talent internal flyer for team plus on line adds
S creening applicants preparing them for interview with the HOD
Sending Job offers after successful interview process, updating all applicants on the progress of their applications.
Close all adverts for a job once it has been filled
Complete off the job induction (on boarding), showing all key areas of the hotel, working with relevant department heads to ensure that all areas of the new starters induction has been completed such as fire safety, fire evac etc,
All new starter paperwork to be completed for payroll, ready to submit on the first payroll day for the new employee.
Process / check any work visas for Non UK staff, ensuring we always have the correct and most up to date right to work for all employees.
New uniforms ordered, name badges, locker keys are issued etc.
Ensure full P-File is complete and stored safely away
Payroll
Collect and check all time sheets, calculating all hours for all staff and ensuring all signatures/info is in place
Ensure all holiday forms are collected and ready for payroll submission.
Ensure all sickness forms are collected and processed in line with payroll guidelines.
Prepare for GM/OM approval
Grievance/Performance Management
Non biased support for team
Note taker for documented conversations when requested by the HODs
Supporting the HODs with working with our HR advisors to ensure we continue to follow the correct process in managing and guiding any HR processes.
Students
Build direct report with colleges and university's in Southampton.
Arrange students and set up training plans based on the needs of the students. Ensuring to always keep the college tutors updated as per their requirements.
Meet and greet all students and follow up with training as required
General
Maintain uniform spare stock and orders as needed
Weekly check for compliance training and ensure it is completed, supporting staff and HODs where necessary and able to in order to strive for completion.
Team member monthly recognition and engagement.
Notice boards / TV screen updates in staff canteen ensuring we communicate effectively with all colleagues regarding what is happening around the combo.
Maintain P-Files keeping up to date records and always in an orderly fashion.
Maintain a tracker for probation reviews and remind HODs to complete prior to 3 months
Staff absence tracker and communication to HODs when this is needing to have additional support.
Heartist training - Continuing the culture of our Heartist model and ensuring this continues to live and breath within our team.
Maintain staff list for birthdays and arrange recognition
Maintain staff list for annual service recognition and arrange gifts
Annual Engagement survey run it, analyse it, deliver actions to make it better the next year!
Fundraising/community involvement
To ensure that all existing policies and procedures are adhered to and monitored as necessary.
