Process Engineer

Global E&C have a requirement for an experienced Process Engineer to join the team in Aberdeen with occasional site visits.
This 18-month role will include supporting our client with generation of site operating procedures, commissioning and start-up through to stable operation support.
Your regular duties will include:
Ensuring that assigned work is compliant to agreed budget and schedule.
Production of discipline deliverables and input to multidiscipline deliverables.
Maintaining project plan and providing progress updates for assigned scopes.
Maintaining project scope/schedule change(s) in accordance with project change control process.
Ensuring compliance to applicable/up to date standards, regulations, codes, and procedures.
Estimate/schedule preparation & approval and electronic submission via Global E&C digital eco-system (Slingshot).
Participating as Design Engineer in various engineering review meetings such as HAZIDs, HAZOPs, SIL Assessment, etc.
Providing technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:
Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering.
Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
Detailed Design experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in the use of applicable codes, practices, standards, and statutory documentation.
Competency in quality control and engineering procedures.
Competency in aspects of discipline design (including multi-discipline) and use of process simulation packages.
Excellent attention to detail, diligence, and self-discipline.
