The Key Responsibilities of the job role: · Provide one-to-one support and supervision to individuals. · Aid all services users in need of assistance · Promoting independence to residents with day-to-day decisions (clothing, bathing, choices of food etc) · Work collaboratively with other staff members and professionals. · Maintain accurate records and documentation of interventions and outcomes · Provide emotional support and practical assistance to individuals to help them achieve their goals and aspirations · Work closely in a holistic approach to care · Establish trusting relationships with clients and their families. · Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the community and healthcare system. · Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support to individuals in distress. · Implement crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies. · Coordinate with emergency services when required. · Support clients in engaging with community resources and activities-cinema, appointments etc
The successful candidate will have: ·Level 2 in Adult Health and Social Care ·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ·A passion to support and care for others ·A drive to learn and develop ·Flexibility to work ·A minimum of 3 months UK care experience ·The right to work in the UK ·Commitment to providing high-quality care and support. ·Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously ·Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations ·Provide a supportive and structured environment that promotes positive change. ·A sense of humour and the ability to bring a smile to the service users face! ·A can-do attitude ·Excellent timekeeping skills ·Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental approach to working with individuals with mental health challenges.
