What is expected of you?
Production management - Oversee all production operations and team management.
Production plan creation and adherence to ensure full compliance of the production plan in all areas.
Manage and maintain the highest levels of quality control and compliance.
Ensure all operators are working to HACCP policies and producing high quality products in a food safe environment.
Meet & maintain all standards of the external audit (Safe and Local Supplier Approval - SALSA)
Ensure warehouse team correctly store ingredients and finished goods.
Equipment, machinery and facility management.
People & Team management including training & development, recruitment, on-boarding and appraisals.
Stakeholder management and cross-functional team collaboration.
As a successful SME going through sustained growth, it is essential that the Production Manager is a hugely proactive individual who will lead from the front and provide the following experience -
Extensive Production Management experience within the food & beverage sector.
Track record of creating accurate production plans.
Proven ability to manage and lead production teams.
Excellent working knowledge of health & safety food hygiene legislation.
Ideally HACCP qualified.
Must have a driver’s license / forklift license & counterbalance (preferred)
Process driven able to establish, maintain and share new processes.
Clear communicator and a team player
Highly organised - ability to plan, prioritise, and schedule as well as keep track of own workload and work to deadlines.
Easily approachable with good interpersonal skills, creative thinking, and analytical skills
Able to cope under pressure and respond to production peaks
