Job Type: Full Time or Part Time

Day to day of the role of an English Lecturer : Deliver high-quality teaching in GCSE and Functional Skills English to vocational learners and adult learners.

Support the development of learners to help them progress to higher courses or into the workplace.

Engage and motivate students, particularly those resitting exams, to achieve their full potential.

Collaborate with a team of experienced teachers to share best practices and innovative teaching strategies.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the English curriculum and teaching resources.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the English Lecturer role : A degree in English or a related subject is preferable.

Recognised teaching qualificationExperience in teaching English GCSE and Functional Skills.

Ability to engage and inspire learners from a variety of vocational disciplines.

Strong commitment to student success and educational excellence.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
