About the role of Account Manager

We are looking to recruit for a hungry and ambitious Account Manager to join a successful Account Management Sales team in the UK.

You will be part of a dynamic sales team that is focused on developing new business from an existing portfolio of accounts. You will be responsible for pro-actively scoping out new business opportunities with existing customers in some of the world’s most successful companies.

As an Account Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Hunting for new business and cross selling / up selling a range of services including subscriptions, bespoke consulting, training, and events into an existing portfolio of accounts across EMEA.

Managing the sales process from beginning to end - this will include securing introductions with decision makers whilst also providing support to users

Occasional travel (when permitted) throughout EMEA to conferences and to see prospective clients

Achieve and exceed monthly sales revenue targets

Develop and maintain quality relationships with your clients and understand customers changing business and technology issues and needs

Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders including analysts, editorial, sales and marketing teams to optimise expansion opportunities

If you a proven track record in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development within Subscription Sales or Technology / SAAS and would like the flexibility to work remotely with a growing brand then we would love to hear from you!

Your Skills & Experience

Minimum of 3 Years’ experience in a Growth Account Management role or New Business Sales / Business Development

Demonstrable track record of strong achievement against sales revenue targets

Experience of selling Business Information, Business Intelligence, Data or SAAS

Experience of building and maintaining relationships with large enterprise accounts

Degree educated

Excellent communications skills in person, on the phone and over email.
