Sheffield based, hybrid working offered once training is complete
Salary £25,000 - £30,000
You will take ownership of the preparation and handover phases of the technical delivery of industry leading LAN and wireless data services to our clients new and existing customers
Key duties & responsibilities
Setup of LAN and wireless networks
Ordering site equipment in line with project budgets
Configuring site equipment in-line with design documentation
Provisioning LAN infrastructure using ZTP
Creating and updating work packs / Plan of Works for installs
Creating documentation for our Support team so they can assist with customer issues
Supporting third parties with provisioning of their systems (CCTV, Door Access, etc.)
Updating project stakeholders on install status
Assisting Support teams with customer issues where required
Managing equipment configuration deadlines ready for shipment
We are keen to speak with individuals who possess the following skills and experience:
Understanding of TCP/IP within an ISP environment
Understanding and use of switching infrastructure and protocols
Understanding, use and implementation of LAN and WAN technologies
Understanding, use and implementation of wireless technologies
Working knowledge of operating systems to include Windows and Linux
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
IT/networking degree, equivalent education, qualification, or experience
