What’s the Job?

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to grow and innovate at StableLogic. We are seeking to substantially expand our AWS practices, skills and services to clients. You would be a key part of this exciting growth and innovation plan.

You will work alongside a team of high-performing developers, engineers, analysts, consultants, and project managers, you will be entrusted with leading initiatives crucial for client system uptime, release management, infrastructure design, network security, and support.

Key responsibilities include:

Senior Architect – Serve as the technical lead for infrastructure design, deployment, maintenance, and optimisation.

AWS Innovator - Work with our teams to develop our AWS practices.

Availability – Ensure all client systems remain operational and available for uninterrupted client use.

People – To foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the team.

Process - To ensure appropriate processes are in place, documented, tested and used for: Capacity Management, Security Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, Availability Management, Security Management.

Security and Compliance – Collaborate with the Head of Labs (Operations) to ensure compliance with client and StableLogic standards, such as ISO 27001.

Values – Uphold and promote StableLogic's core values throughout team operations.

Infrastructure Technical Expertise - Proficiency in managing cloud technologies, particularly AWS.

Security Technical Expertise - Ability to analyse and advise on security risks and collaborate with security specialists.

Management – Supporting, motivating and ensuring delivery across the team.

Delivery – Ensuring the team deliver on time, with quality and in line with agreed processes.

AWS - Strong understanding of AWS, the different products and services, and how to deliver strong business outcome.

Security – To understand, analyse and advise on the security risks to clients systems and work as part of the Labs security speciality.

Prioritisation – Efficient allocation of resources to meet client delivery requirements amidst competing demands.

Person Profile

StableLogic require good communications skills, a team player with a logical, meticulous mind and an interest in technology.

You’d be a perfect fit for our team if you have:

Extensive prior experience with AWS cloud technologies.

Experience working in Agile teams and CI/CD environments.

Experience with containerisation (e.g., Docker), orchestration tools (e.g., Salt Stack), and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Experience with Security Management.

Knowledge of ITSM Fundamentals.

SQL skills and knowledge.

Familiarity with alerting and monitoring systems.

Second line support.
