Computer Vision Engineer

An Exciting opportunity has arisen for a Computer Vision Engineer. The role would see you become an integral part of the team working on products at the very cutting edge of technology.
As a world leader in motion capture technology, developing high performance software and hardware products for the entertainment, engineering and life science industries. My clients products have been used in major feature films, games, and commercials, and are a crucial measurement tool for biomechanics, robotics, and cutting-edge science.
You will play a key role in projects for motion capture using a variety of approaches. You will have significant opportunities to drive technical direction, working within a strong team to build great motion capture products.
Key Responsibilities
· Researching and engineering algorithms for motion capture of humans and objects from a variety of sensing methods
· Experimental design, presentation and reviewing experimental results
· Algorithm and system performance characterisation
· Collaborate with software development and product stakeholders to deliver software products built upon our technologies
Essential Skills
Must have full rights to work in the UK
Must be happy to commute to the office in Yarnton, Oxfordshire a minimum of 2 days per week
Minimum of 3+ years in Computer vision working on Motion Capture/ Object detection/ Robotics
Minimum BSc in Computer Science or other relevant field
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong software engineering in C++, Python
Desirable Skills
Multiple view geometry, camera calibration and structure-from-motion/SLAM
Experience with robotics, high-performance real-time computer vision applications
Motion capture and human modelling
Experience of using deep learning for computer vision problems
Experience of other sensing modalities such as IMU
