HRIS Business Analyst

An excellent opportunity for an experienced HRIS Business Analyst to support the delivery of a Dayforce People & payroll implementation across the organisation.
This role will be on a 1-year fixed-term contract basis.
You will be part of a team delivering this strategic project, there is a requirement for someone with an open mind and the ability to recognise when flexibility is required, especially if it means the outcome is better or greater than sticking rigidly to the process.
The role:
You will be the custodian of accurate and up to date project impacting PEOPLE processes and build the workflow and process mapping.
You will be responsible for documenting the As it Is processes across the organisation and map it against the Day force methodology where applicable and the rationalised To be Processes within the People environment – supporting the gathering of information from the various functional People leads.
You will need a combination of information management; data management; analysis; communication and IT skills.
You should talk to People, validate information gathered, analyse the same and process map everything around the project needs and create meaningful clear documentation to feed the design the solution.
You should be a person that likes to bring order to chaos and pride yourself on having structured and organised ways of working in a loosely structured environment.
Responsibilities:
Analyse People processes and systems
Collaborate with People, Payroll and IT teams
Gather business requirements
Implement People system process mapping to help design the solution
Analyze People data and identify trends
Provide insights and recommendations
Ensure People systems meet business objectives
Ensure People systems meet employee needs
Help Test manager in designing the Test scripts for UAT
Train People team on system use
Experience required:
Experience in a similar role is critical for this, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an People/payroll related project role.
Knowledge of Ceridian/Dayforce PEOPLEIS
Excellent Excel skills and Viso skills
Self and team-motivator, cooperative, flexible, pragmatic, friendly, organised and delivery focused
Collaborative and culturally aware
Ability to analyse and resolve issues, both logical and interpersonal.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
There will be a requirement to spend time working from their Office in York (attending workshops, meeting key stakeholders etc.)
This is flexible for the right person but will not be a 100% home working role.
