So what skills do you need to bring?
Able to co-ordinate colleagues, including technical employees at all levels, bid colleagues, marketing and communications, and external partners
Skilled in editing copy to correct grammar, spelling and punctuation, and ability to edit copy to house standard and style
Skilled in setting priorities that accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities
A strong team player with the ability to share information, offer support and provide guidance to both colleagues and customers
Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
Ability to multitask and manage disparate plans in a services-based environment
Ability to prioritise effectively and work to demanding timelines
Advanced MS Word skills & proficient in MS Office and MS Teams
Sound commercial understanding, P&L, and risk management skills
Be comfortable working in an energetic, high growth environment
Accustomed to working to targets
And what will your responsibilities be?
Managing the written and editorial aspects of the bid and proposal development process
Communicating requirements, deadlines, and expectations to key stakeholders and the bid/ proposal team
Maintaining the bid library, bid tracker, author content, and editing text produced by other members of the team
Re-write or edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from technical, sales, marketing, finance, commercial, legal, and operations
Checking drafts for readability, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and formatting
Producing high-quality documents and ensuring completed bids/ proposals meet the bid specification
Maintaining the bid library, bid tracker, content
Conducting bid analysis following completion of submissions to drive improvements
Sound commercial understanding, P&L, and risk management skills
Manage complex, multi-workstream opportunities. Solid understanding and management of internal governance procedures
For complex bids, support the operational and sales teams with the implementation of new agreements
