Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking, personable Kitchen Porter with a good standard of English, able to lift and carry items where required and available to work long hours when needed, primarily to assist in the running of the back of house operations as well as assisting the event team in set up and general light food preparation duties.
Responsibilities include:
washing of plates, glass, and cutlery
Cleaning of kitchen areas
waste Management
assist in light chef duties
assist other back of house porter duties in the moving and set up of events
assist with special functions and other areas of service where necessary
You will need at least one year’s experience working as a kitchen porter to succeed in this role. You will be able to work under pressure, and demonstrate you are a team player with a calm and reasonable approach to your work.
