The Role
We are a top 50 firm of Chartered Accountants and Professional Business advisers, with offices in both London and Surrey. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the firm as an HR Advisor in our Godalming office for a fixed term contract (6 months initially). The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified with experience in employee relations.
(Note: We will happily consider part time applicants.)
Key Responsibilities:
Providing high quality, transactional HR support and query resolution to employees’, managers and third parties
Delivering and developing HR processes and procedures; some already established and requiring process improvement, others requiring design and implementation.

Maintain and accurately update employee files and HR system
Provide assistance to the HR Director on projects as required
Recruitment activities from resourcing, advertising, shortlisting and coordinating interviews, and attending if required.
Manage recruitment agency relationship and agree/negotiate rates
Management of the in-house pre-employment screening process
Manage sickness and annual leave tracking
Travel to London will be required

Skills & Experience
Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified
Experience of managing employee relations procedures
Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to meet deadlines
A flexible or adaptable approach
Excellent attention to detail and ability to retain knowledge
Strong relationship building skills, with the proven track record to effectively influence key stakeholders
Positive and ‘can-do’ attitude.
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft office packages
