Your daily duties will include:
* Under limited supervision, machine standard and special components for bespoke MMD machines to schedule.
* Machine parts using manual and CNC machines.
* Keeping records of time and material used on jobs.
* Support engineering and production with any changes to machine build.
* Support engineering with parts for research and development.
Required skills
* CNC and manual machining knowledge and 3-5 years’ experience.
* Knowledge of working with Prototract, SLX, Siemens, Shopmill (would be an advantage but training will be provided)
* Read mechanical drawings.
* Mechanical skills.
* General problem-solving skills and practical aptitude.
* Ability to work as part of a team and display a willingness to learn and put skills into practice.
* Excellent communication.
* Able to lift weight ranging from 10 to 20 kilos
Pay £12.98-£14.54 per hour
Hours :8am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday
8:30am-1pm Friday.
