My client is currently looking for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join their rapidly expanding insurance company. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with over 5 years of post-qualification experience in the insurance industry, who is looking to be part of a dynamic and fast-growing environment.
Day-to-day of the role: Oversee the preparation and submission of annual US regulatory returns (NAIC & TRIA) and Solvency II quantitative reporting templates.
Produce Solvency II narrative reports (SFCR and RSR) and quarterly board papers.
Lead tax projects and contribute to the team’s regular tax reporting, including CBCR return and transfer pricing OECD documentation.
Manage one direct report, providing guidance and leadership to a qualified accountant.
Collaborate with key internal departments such as Finance, Actuarial, Compliance, and Underwriting, as well as external relationships including auditors and third-party service providers.
Required Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in the insurance industry.
Strong expertise in regulatory reporting, particularly within the insurance sector.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor team members.
Excellent organisational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple deadlines.
A proactive approach to work, with a willingness to take on new and challenging tasks.
Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
Experience in managing external audits.
