Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist - Part-Time

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated and supportive inter-disciplinary team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for promoting the best outcomes for students through holistic and integrated programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with another Speech and Language Therapist, a Speech and Language Therapy assistant, and school staff to implement 1:1 and group therapy sessions.

Provide a range of interventions, including individual and group therapy sessions, to support students' communication needs.

Support and train parents and staff on speech and language development and strategies.

Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify students' holistic communication needs.

Independently provide therapeutic interventions for various speech and language difficulties, such as Developmental Language Disorder, Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Phonological disorders, Dyspraxia, and Stammering.

Manage a caseload with autonomy and independence.

Collaborate as an active member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Requirements:

Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.

HCPC

Demonstrated experience in working with paediatric populations.

Commitment to ongoing professional development.
