The Director of Production is a key leadership position within the team. You will build great relationships with our 2nd party game studio partners, collaborating and supporting them to deliver high-quality titles across multiple platforms.

You will play a leading role in the overall strategy of the second-party studio/team, leveraging the use of internal/external resources to drive this forward. You will lead an internal production team and ensure that projects are effectively managed through all development stages, from initial concept design right through to commercial release and post launch support/live-ops.

You will mentor, manage, and lead multiple producers, creating growth and opportunities for their success, while maintaining a balanced and effective production capacity.

• Work cross-functionally, leveraging the use of internal resources to best support the studios.

• Be an internal product champion, building a deep knowledge of your products and communicating confidently to all key stakeholders across the business.

• Partner with IEGG Business Owner and Studio Management, to ensure studios have a clear vision which is aligned with IEGG portfolio strategy.

• Work closely with the development team, to ensure effective production processes are in place for project tracking, including milestone reviews and regular feedback.

• Help studios to identify potential risks as early as possible. Support them in mitigating these risks, helping to remove roadblocks and track progress throughout the product lifecycle.

• Assess production plans and roadmaps and be able to confidently validate these plans against overall product status and aligned goals.

• Help resolve unique complex product issues through ingenuity, creativity, and any other means necessary to keep projects on-track.

• Work closely with Publishing Support and Marketing, to ensure product has a clear validation testing strategy and go-to-market plan.

• Ensure effective onboarding and communication across internal support teams (e.g. QA, Loc, Tech) to best support the products in a timely and efficient way.

• Help drive a collaborative and positive culture within the Nexus team.

To be successful you will have:

• 10+ years games production experience, shipping multiple titles on PC, Console & Mobile (+Social, F2P. GaaS). Ideally in a publishing /external development capacity.

• 5+ years’ experience managing direct reports, with varying levels of production experience.

• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects with the ability to balance quality, scope, budget, risk, and time.

• Ability to influence direction, without relying on positional authority.

• A track record of leading and driving high-performing teams to deliver high-quality products.

• Excellent communication approach, being able to work with a variety of people and styles.

• Robus organizational skills and unwavering ability.

• An excellent understanding of what is required to build great products and franchises.

• An understanding of a wide range of project management concepts, tools and approaches and an ability to tailor methods to meet the requirements of the team.

• A passion for playing and creating games.
