Responsibilities of this role:
Effectively manage a caseload of the most complex and high risk cases, using the signs of safety framework for all social work practice.
Co-work difficult cases with less experienced social workers, including newly qualified social workers, to ensure quality and consistency of decision making.
Provide practice teacher support to students on placement. Guide and provide support, assess practice and feedback, so that students can gain the right knowledge and skills for Children’s Social Work.
Lead on social work improvement projects as discussed and agreed with the Service Manager and Senior Fieldwork Manager.
Build relationships with children, young people, and all key family members as the basis for all support and child protection responses.
Requirements of this role:
Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience.
