The company is based in Newport with the factory employing over 50 people. The company has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, which is equipped with the latest technology. They are committed to continuous improvement and invest heavily in research and development.
The successful candidate will have a strong Electrical background and be able to demonstrate expertise in Electrical/Mechanical problem solving and Root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximise equipment uptime and minimise downtime.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Manage maintenance inventory and ensure adequate stock levels of spare parts and equipment.
Key Skills:
Electrically qualified with Root cause analysis experience.
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Previous experience of CMMS systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
