Key Responsibilities:
Cost Management: Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for residential projects.
Procurement: Source materials, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
Contract Administration: Administer contracts, handle variations, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to costs, contracts, and project delivery.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in residential construction.
Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Skills: Proficient in cost estimation software, strong negotiation skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Certification: Chartered status (RICS or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
