We are looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to join a multiple award-winning Automotive Manufacturer who is at the forefront of Electric Vehicle technology and dedicated to a sustainable future. In this role you will be responsible for the complete management of Supplier Quality related activites across the organisation. You will be tasked with leading, coaching and developing the Supplier Quality Team to deliver organisational goals.

Supplier Quality Manager role:

Manage the supplier quality team to support reactive supplier quality issues & issue resolution through the consistent application of the Supplier corrective action process,

Manage and report on supplier quality KPI's, manage issues and work cross functionally to attain targets and goals set,

Chair the supplier quality performance review to drive engagement and cross functional alignment,

Manage the supplier audit processes to ensure effectiveness of the process driving identified improvements and delivering audit schedule attainment,

Manage the supplier improvement process, ensuring suppliers with identified development needs are effectively managed,

Work cross functionally with the sourcing, R&D and supply chain teams to implement process improvements leading to improvements in supplier performance,

Lead the team to ensure application of the supplier approval and part approval processes delivering operational performance improvements through a reduction in waste and right first time from suppliers,

Where required step in to lead critical supplier quality issue resolution to minimise negative impacts to the plant and customers,

Lead technological development and capital technology introduction within goods inwards & part approval processes. Delivering robust metrology solutions & enhancements in part quality enhancing assessment enabling robust problem solving,

Supplier Quality Manager requirements:

Hold a degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.

Proven experience in supplier quality management within automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.

Expertise in strategy development, business transformation, and change management.

Confident in supplier development and improvement processes.

Thorough understanding of Supplier Approval & Part Approval Processes.

Track record of leading cross-functional teams and implementing root cause problem-solving approaches.

Proficiency in metrology methods and techniques for accurate part quality assessment.

Demonstrated ability to drive quality performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Desirable).
