The role of Accounts Receivable Assistant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
Bad debt provision preparation and posting journal into accounting system
Working with a Debt Collection agency to oversee customer debts, including dealing with client queries and legal instructions
Managing Customer discounts
Making refund payments to customers
Allocating cash received to customer accounts
Debt reporting
Managing Finance mailbox (shared task)
Ad hoc project work to improve processes
You
As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
Experience in a similar role essential
Experience working in credit control desirable
Great communicator
Problem solver
Ability to get started right away meaning a good understanding of accounting basics and Excel
