Our client, based in Peterborough, has an exciting career opportunity to join their workshop as an MOT Tester & Tyre Fitter. You will need to have previous experience as an MOT Tester within the motor trade and ideally hold an MOT licence. Apply with us today to find out more!
Duties & Responsibilities of an MOT Tester/Tyre Fitter:
Carrying out MOT service and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control on test results and additional work necessary.
Fitting tyres efficiently and competently in line with the manufacturer standards.
Ensuring quality inspection controls are carried out.
Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
Your Background & Skill:
Must be a qualified MOT Tester.
Experience working as a MOT Tester AND Tyre Fitter (5 years minimum).
Current Class 4/7 MOT Smart Card.
A full UK Driving Licence.
Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Passion for the automotive industry.
