Annual Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 + TLR

We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to lead our KS3 curriculum development and inspire our students at a vibrant secondary school. This role is not only about teaching but also about shaping the future of our Mathematics department and fostering a love for the subject among our students.
Day-to-day of the role:
Deliver engaging and high-quality mathematics lessons to KS3 students.
Develop and implement schemes of work and assessments in line with the national curriculum.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support to ensure high levels of achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues within the department to share best practices and resources.
Act as a mentor to fellow teachers, offering guidance and support to enhance teaching quality.
Participate in and contribute to whole-school initiatives, meetings, and extracurricular activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Mathematics.
Demonstrable experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
A strong commitment to student achievement and development.
Ability to lead and coordinate within the department, promoting a positive and engaging learning environment.
