Technique Recruitment solutions are working as a recruitment agency in collaboration with our Great Yarmouth, Norfolk based client, who are a specialist manufacturer based in Norwich. They have an opportunity for a new temporary Technical Administrator role, to join their existing team, office location based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Technical Administrator (Temporary role initially)
Department: Engineering
Great Yarmouth, Norfolk based.
37.5 hours per week Mon to Fri days
£14.00 p/hr weekly pay.
Fulltime temporary ongoing role, initially for 3 months, with potential for the role to be extended.
Job Purpose: To actively own and maintain the documentation and supporting systems to enable manufacture of products in clients facility.
Main Responsibilities:
1 Support new product introduction and existing product updates.
2 Manage all product definition: BoM and Routing (resources, timings, costs, instructions, etc) on the ERP system
3 Manage all production drawings: using CAD software to create and modify content
4 Manage all piece part procurement drawings: using CAD software to create and modify content.
5 Manage part lifecycle including part creation, periodic reviews & updates, obsolescence management, and end of life.
6 Coordinate timely approval of all updates and quality management approval, including releasing approved documents to manufacturing.
