Role Overview:
They are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic Practice Manager with a background of working in holistic financial planning. In this role, you will oversee a team of Paraplanners and Administrators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality research and recommendation reports. The Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in driving team performance, promoting best practices, and maintaining excellent client service standards. The role could suit an experienced IFA Administrator or Paraplanner with some managerial/mentoring experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor team activity and coordinate workload using our Monday.Com workflow system.
Manage SLAs and prioritize workload allocation to ensure timely service delivery.
Liaise with outsourced providers to ensure end-to-end support for Financial Planners.
Promote best practices among team members and identify training needs.
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and meet SLAs.
Maintain accurate client records and provide technical support as needed.
Liaise with clients and providers while ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures.
Undertake paraplanning work as required to support Financial Planning recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Level 4 Diploma Qualified (desired).
3+ years experience as a Paraplanner/Senior Administrator within a financial planning environment.
Experience managing or mentoring a team.
Working knowledge of protection, investments, pensions, and pensions transfers.
Essential Skills:
Strong leadership, organizational, and workload management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and high level of professionalism.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and CRM systems.
Desirable Skills:
Experience within a Quilter/Intrinsic AR.
Familiarity with specific systems like Quilter, Aegon, Voyant, MICAP, and Monday.Com.
