Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in a science-related field.
Proven experience as a successful classroom practitioner with a track record of raising student achievement.
Previous leadership experience within a science department or similar role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
A commitment to promoting the highest standards of teaching and learning.
Knowledge of the National Curriculum and current educational initiatives in science.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider leadership team.
