Overview of the role
We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Based 2nd Line IT Engineer who will be based in Portsmouth at one of our largest retail client’s sites. This role will be joining our already established onsite engineering team who provides support for our client. You will be bringing your IT knowledge and customer experience to provide an efficient, approachable and streamlined methodology to fixing their IT issues. As one of our 2nd Line IT Engineers you will be expected to work on our client’s site 5 days a week.

Duties and responsibilities of our Site Based 2nd Line IT Engineer:
Although you will be on site at one of our clients you will be an important member of the Tailor Made Technologies team, you will be the face of the company every day. As our 2nd Line IT Engineer, you will be responsible for; providing outstanding customer care and support through efficient ticket management, providing first response fixes, resolving incidents and requests or escalating when necessary, managing working queues and prioritising events, complying with SLA’s, supporting the service desk and working efficiently and productively to ensure a excellent customer experience. All support and training will be given to ensure you have what you need to excel in your career at Tailor Made Technologies.
