They're acquisitive, which along with promotions and retirements, leads to succession planning issues. In your area that means they have a client book with c£200,000 ongoing fees attached to it. And whilst that will leave you short of your validation (which is £280,000 based on an £80,000 salary) this company have thought of another way to incentivise you. In short, in year one, you'll get 30% bonus on ALL initial fees. So a) you'll earn bonus straightaway and b) by the time year two arrives, you'll have built up your ongoing. Not bad eh?You can also factor in knowing exactly what you're walking in to. You'll know the average client portfolio. Their ages. The business that's been carried out. All the information you could possibly need to strategise a business development plan will be at your fingertips. You 'll get a good starting salary befitting someone with your knowledge (c£60,000 - £80,000) and experience (5 years plus as a planner). You'll get 30% on new business and 15% on ongoing paid half yearly, making this a six-figure environment. But to look after such a big book you need first class support. And you'll have it.You'll work with administrators and paraplanners who not only carry out their traditional duties. They are front and centre when it comes to dealing with clients too, freeing up even more of your time. There's flexible working and an ethos of encouraging a healthy work/life balance. And the feedback we get from planners who have interviewed and now work for them, is excellent. WHAT YOU'LL NEED:You'll need to be a level 4 adviser (level 6 would be great) with a great track record.You'll have CAS and have the energy, determination and ability to manage a sizeable, HNW client portfolio.And good experience (5 years plus as a planner) is needed.Clients are in the North East along with your local office, so you'll live in the area. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Deserve more from your employer but unsure if the grass is greener?
