Hours - Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm

Apleona UK have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, highly organised and professional Health Safety Environment, (EHS) Manager to oversee and support the Health & Safety at our client site in the Wirral.

The EHS Manager will have responsibility for assisting all EHS activities and support to the Facilities IFM Operations teams on a prestigious pharmaceutical client facility.

Reporting directly to the Senior Facilities Manager you will also provide EHS Support to the client sites operations and assist with the co-ordination of tasks and compliance from third parties to the satisfaction of the client.

The EHS Manager will have the ability to support teams deliver and comply with GxP standards, carry out and support on Audits, critical non - Compliance reporting and the development and execution of Corrective and Preventative Action Plans.

Coordination of any safety issues raised on the client safety reporting tool to ensure timely closure of any actions that link with contractual KPI’s. A strong knowledge and experience of working in a Regulated Pharmaceutical (or related) FM environment is necessary. Experience of dealing with waste compliance, auditing, and quality.

What do you need?

Experience working in a Pharmaceutical or Regulated Compliant Environment.

Working within Pharmaceutical Quality Management System requirements.

Knowledge/Experience of Industrial Hygiene EHS preferably in a Lab I GxP Pharmaceutical Environment.

Level 3 or above Health and Safety practitioner (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent)

A foundation level or above Environment qualification

Experience of working in cGMP & cGDP environments

Excellent Knowledge of soft and hard services

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Flexible approach to working hours to ensure our client receives the best service all the time

Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience of dealing with site waste (general & Hazardous), documentation and compliance
