Responsibilities of the Learning Support Assistant:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, or English as a second language.

Support students with organizational skills, study habits, and time management to promote independence and academic success.

Requirements:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to supporting students facing academic or behavioural challenges.

Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the evolving needs of students and the school community.
