An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Performance Manager to join the Planning & Performance team here at c2c

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Head of Planning & Performance, you will lead the day-to-day management of the performance team and support the delivery of performance improvement across our route.
Key responsibilities will include:
Manage day-to-day performance activity across c2c
Undertake performance modelling to ensure targets are aligned with Network Rail and the Department for Transport as required by our National Rail Contract
Develop the Joint Performance Strategy and work across the business to embed a performance culture across c2c
Complete annual RM3-P assessments across our business, using the results to drive improvement activity
Work with internal and external stakeholders to produce and deliver performance improvement initiatives
Manage internal PIMS processes, ensuring that best practice from across the industry is adopted
Embed a joint working culture within c2c and Network Rail to deliver the best possible results across the Essex Thameside route
Lead two direct reports, ensuring that training and coaching is delivered in order to meet business objectives
What it takes:
Relevant education or workplace experience
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, internal and external
Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
Expert user in rail performance software (TRUST, BUGLE etc.)
Previous line-management experience, including leading and coaching of new entrants to the rail industry

Competitive salary circa £54,600.00 dependent on experience
