So about the role:
Our client are looking for someone with a background in Project Management to join the team to help with the day-to-day running of the EA function, shape and run a number of key EA initiatives and to help communicate and elaborate the EA vision.
Responsibilities will include…
with the selection and ownership of tooling to support the EA processes. Collaborate to create and maintain the business and technical architecture modelled in the EA tools.
key EA artefacts are maintained as living documents through stakeholder management and a regular cadence of engagement.
with the business units to capture, triage, and prioritise demand onto the EA backlog.
the outward communications channels and raise the profile of EA.
the EA governance process, supporting group risk and compliance through coordination and facilitation of the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and overall engagement with the wider organisation.
the Chief Technology Officers and Lead Architects through the communication of:
Centrally managed catalogues
Strategic technologies and vendors
Strategic suppliers and partners
Research and advice for optimal technology subscription and licensing
Skills and Experience:
A broad foundational understanding of IT and related concepts with the ability to provide technical challenge where appropriate.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively and to organise others.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to understand and summarise complex topics in in a way which can easily be consumed by others and able to flex and adapt style to influence others at all levels.
Experience working in a project environment with exposure to Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Experience of Microsoft productivity tools, such as Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
