Join our IT team as IT Manager UK and IRE become part of a diverse community, be part of the new equation shaping the future in close collaboration with Business. The role of the IT Manager is to ensure optimal performance of information technology systems and operations in alignment with the business objectives.

Travel: The role offers hybrid working up to 3 days onsite and will require regular travels to Shepreth, Cambridgeshire, Nottingham, Kilcoole in Ireland. It will involve approximately 10% travels to other countries.

Main responsibilities:

Ensure IT support and guarantee high-level of customer service quality as a Lead Help Desk activities for our offices in the UK and Ireland, including onboarding and offboarding users and logical access management.

Support overall business strategy by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing new features, systems as well as potential changes/enhancements,

Implement security and technical infrastructure projects (Active Directory migration, Centralized Device standard management, logical access management, etc.)

Be force of proposal to simplify, standardize architecture, process, and organization.

Manage budget, contracts, providers.

Lead continuous improvement plan.

Ensure rigorous control of licenses, security certificates, devices usage (networks components, workstation, smartphones).

Develop and maintain a clear and comprehensive documentation: instructions, inventories, architecture schemas, internal trainings, and user guidelines.

Support Global IT Infrastructure team to implement strategic technical and security project.

Contribute to implementation strategic business projects: D365 CRM-PDM-ERP.

Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements:

Stay updated on industry standards, emerging technologies, cyber security risks and regulatory requirements that may impact IT strategy.

Technical Requirements:

BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent education and experience.

Minimum 5-year experience as help desk manager, project manager, application, or infrastructure team manager.

Good project management skills including tasks prioritization, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple subjects simultaneously.

Analytical capabilities to build reports and analyse data to provide insights.

Hands on experience with remote-control software; workstations (MAC, Windows), smartphones (Android, OS), printers, desk phones,

Reliable technical knowledge about:

Network infrastructure including SecOps operations (FW, Switch…),

Monitoring and vulnerability scanning at performance for 4 types of assets: workstations, servers, applications, and network components,

Microsoft product expertise will be advantageous: O365 (Power BI, Power Apps workflow configuration, SharePoint internal site creation), D365 (CRM/PDM/ERP)

ITSM, ITIL expertise: tools, method of work. Practical knowledge how to adapt organization, process, tool to manage user request, resolve incident and handle changes.

Proven experience in administration authentication solution (Azure Active Directory), segregation logical access.

Excellent communication skills. Ability to give instructions, information to a non-technical audience
