The Role:
To effectively coordinate Health, Safety & Environmental activities for the site ensuring that all agreed targets and activities are achieved in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for undertaking and advising upon Health, Safety and Environment activities on site.
Deputise for the Health, Safety and Environment Manager
Essential
NEBOSH level 3 General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
3 years experience implementing Health, Safety and Environment in a manufacturing environment at an advisor/officer level
Strong working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislation and systems
Desirable
NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ5/6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health
5+ years experience implementing Health, Safety and Environment in a food manufacturing environment at an advisor/officer level or above
Excellent working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislation and systems
IEMA certificate in Environmental Management
