As our Senior Partnerships and Community Projects Design Manager, you will play a central role in shaping the future direction of this work – identifying and designing impactful programmes and collaborations that further this success. You will directly report to our Director of Partnerships and Communities, oversee a talented team– including our Partnerships and Business Development Manager, and collaborate with brilliant colleagues across our directorate and wider charity.

About Community Integrated Care

We are one of Britain’s biggest and most successful social care charities. Delivering more than 10 million hours of care and support annually, we are driven by a mission of enabling people to lead The Best Life Possible. This is a true blue-chip charity – named as the Charity Times ‘Charity of the Year’, Care Innovators of the Year and Care Employer of the Year.

About This Role

You will be responsible for:

Identifying opportunities to create impactful partnerships and programmes that add real value to our charity and the lives of the people we support.

You will ensure that these opportunities are purposeful, realistic, financially sustainable and outcome-focused by being deeply connected to the needs and potential of our charity, and forming great connections (both inside Community Integrated Care and with external organisations and individuals who can contribute to our mission).

Designing exceptional projects and partnerships.

You will collaborate with external funders, partners, and internal teams to identify, scope, secure and define new projects or relationships. You will ensure that we generate the best value and impact possible for our skills, connections and insights.

This will be supported by our Partnerships and Business Development Manager, who is one of your direct reports and focusses on securing new funding and relationships for our charity.

Whilst this role is primarily centred on you identifying and designing new projects and partnerships, there may be moments where you directly contribute to their delivery too.

Providing strongly designed project models and roadmaps to our Delivery team, who directly implement our work.

The projects, partnerships, and delivery models that you design will be meticulously planned to be aligned with our mission, financially sustainable, and achieve the best impact possible on the lives of the people we support and the goals of our charity.

You will ensure that every concept is feasible and practical, including understanding resourcing and budget requirements.

When these projects are relationships are secured, you will work closely with our Project Manager and Partnerships and Community Projects Delivery Manager (whose role is to direct the teams that implement our work) to transition them to successful mobilisation.

Managing a portfolio of relationships.

You will take a proactive approach, ensuring that our partners feel valued and are connected to the impact of our work. You will nurture these relationships for ongoing growth and impact.

Analysing our work to continually improve our impact.

Through evaluation, participating in project reviews, and directly engaging with our partners, colleagues, the people we support and other key stakeholders, you will develop new ideas and innovations and find ways to hone our impact.

Acting as a leader and furthering our strategy .

This includes leading or contributing to proposals and presentations; developing strategies, evaluations, and overviews of our models; coaching and supporting your team; and representing our work internally and externally.

We are looking for someone who…

Has great problem-solving abilities, analytical and research skills, and creative vision. You will know how to analyse a problem or an opportunity and create great solutions in response.

Can identify, design and scope a range of scalable, engaging, and resource-efficient projects across diverse themes. This work needs to be financially sustainable and achieve a real impact.

Is skilled at building relationships for impactful partnerships.

Brings commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will understand what influential businesses, funders and people want and need from our charity and the value we can exchange. You will understand how to find opportunities and design concepts that are commercially robust.

Has strong leadership and collaboration skills – working productively with others, identifying shared goals, and inspiring and motivating teams.

Has excellent presentation, copywriting, and research skills.

Shares a passion for our mission of enabling people to lead the Best Life Possible.

Can co-produce concepts and has the necessary personality, mindset and skills to engage the people we support.

We Offer:
