The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA Qualified, with approximately 1-2 years industry experience under their belt, who is looking to progress their technical and reporting skills further within the Finance Retail space.
Preparation of the monthly group reporting pack, including IFRS adjustments, for submission to the parent company group finance team
Monthly and YTD variance analysis for balance sheet accounts
Completion of the statutory accounts and annual group financial statements in UK GAAP, including group consolidation and workings behind the financial statements and compliance
Production of subsidiary financial statements in UK GAAP
Co-ordinating the annual external audit process including interim and year end
Working with the financial planning and analysis team to maintain key reports and structures
Monthly board reporting
Influencing accounting policies including revenue recognition and acquisition consolidation
Strong technical accounting background
ACA/ACCA/CA qualified
