Salary: Circa £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Latham & Bond HR is working exclusively with a Coventry-based automotive manufacturing organisation in their search for a proactive and skilled NPI Coordinator. This role is critical for managing the project planning and coordination of new and replacement product programs. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure that new products are launched on time and meet the expected volume, cost, and quality standards. This position also offers the opportunity to be the primary interface with customers regarding new product introduction deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain all project plans, potentially including those for other businesses within the group, as required.
Oversee and manage Capex plans, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure orders are placed on time and within budget.
Create and maintain tooling spend tracking for all aspects of new projects, ensuring alignment with customer submissions.
Maintain launch readiness and Gateway documents, conducting reviews to ensure all business functions meet key milestones for a successful launch.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers concerning new product introduction deliverables.
Coordinate with planning and engineering teams to schedule key sampling activities in casting and machining, ensuring parts meet customer expectations without affecting existing production schedules.
Assist in pre-production builds on the shop floor, addressing and resolving issues promptly using established problem-solving tools.
Manage new product introduction (NPI) from concept and prototype stages through to launch readiness, final product development, and post-launch improvements.
Qualifications / Experience:
A degree or equivalent experience in project planning is highly desirable.
Extensive knowledge of project management and experience with plant commissioning/installation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Familiarity with high-pressure die casting and CNC machining is an advantage.
Understanding automotive OEM launch procedures is beneficial.
Proficient in Office software and Microsoft Projects.
