We are headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan, outside of Detroit, and maintain testing laboratories, manufacturing, and support facilities around the globe.
To strengthen our Service Department, we are looking for a Service Engineer, who will be involved in the global European team for activities managed for our customers based in all Europe.
Activities
On-site commissioning as well as maintenance and service on test machines (both electromechanical and hydraulic) designed and built by LINK;
Wiring of electronic boards and switchboards
Troubleshooting of electrical components and electronic boards
Carry out routine and extraordinary maintenance of machines
Assemble the individual parts and check their correct function
Identify and solve anomalies or problems concerning machines
Skills
Technical Diploma or Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering or similar education
At least 5 years of experience in similar role in mechanical/idraulic, hydraulics, electronics, electro technics, electromechanics
Ability to read electrical, electronic drawings, scheme and hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
Ability to use electronic laboratory instruments and equipment (welding machine, multimeter, oscilloscope)
Ability to read a technical mechanical/drawing and diagrams;
Knowledge of industrial automation (PLC programming), microprocessors
Knowledge of the main industrial operating systems (DOS, UNIX, VMS;. . . ) and Office applications
Availability to travel in Europe very frequently
