We are seeking a highly motivated experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Exeter. As a key member of management team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success and accuracy of their civil engineering projects.
The role:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop cost-effective project plans.
* Monitor project budgets and financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and potential risks.
* Sub-contractor procurement
* Negotiate contracts, change orders, and variations.
