Applicants should be living within a 30-mile radius of Newcastle upon Tyne for this field-based role but should be no further south than Teesside.
Ideally, the role would be suited to someone with a kitchen sales design background looking to stay within the KBB industry but perhaps wants to move away from the sales side of things, and is happy to be still client-facing. This is not a sales role; it’s managing existing accounts and has a fast-track route for promotion into Account Management (with a substantial pay rise that comes with it!)
You will be given a structured three-month induction plan covering all aspects of the role. This will provide you with all the tools you need to succeed in your new career
Please do not apply for the role of Business Account Coordinator unless you meet the following criteria:
Hold a full UK Driving Licence
Have a Kitchen Sales Designer background or have face-to-face Account Management experience from companies that sell their products to large property developers/house builders, for example supplying kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, tiling, piping, electrical, civil, plumbing etc
Key responsibilities of the Business Account Coordinator will include:
Supporting the Account Managers in Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas on the larger, more complex accounts to learn and understand the role of your peers
Visiting various sites to complete a site set-up with customers, explaining your role and the process of service delivery (delivery dates, work schedules etc) as well as dealing with any issues that may arise on-site during the supply and fit period
Delivering POS (Points of Sale) for the show homes and to Retailers, as well as sending samples to builders
Taking briefs of products required and ensuring full detail is given on specification (size, colour etc)
Discussing design and layout options whilst adhering to gas and other safety regulations
Quoting prices to buyers for full kitchens/bedrooms or individual items
Maximising market share by creating strong relationships with key decision makers and customer contacts (buyers etc) and ensuring you provide a good service and are on their radar for up-and-coming work that is available

Have the ability to work well under pressure and maintain deadlines
Be presentable and able to communicate confidently with people at all levels
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Have the ability to confidently manage multiple projects
Be able to manage your diary and time effectively to ensure you meet all SLAs

Client Info:
Our client is the largest and most successful, privately owned manufacturer of fitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture, in the UK and the organisation has been in operation for over 50 years, experiencing growth year on year. They have been successful in winning various tenders to supply fitted kitchens for New Build Social Housing projects and Private Development Projects throughout the country, these projects are delivered by large Contractors such as Lovell, Countryside and Galliford Try.
These Contractors now have large land banks and are building more open market houses to compete with the likes of Barratt and Taylor Wimpey. Due to this continued demand, our client requires additional Business Account Coordinators to support the Business Account Managers; these people will be an integral part of the business, liaising and forming strong relationships with Buyers, Architects, Contractors and Head Specifiers and will play a key role in the company fulfilling its contractual obligations.
