Your responsibilities will involve ensuring the efficient execution of complex electronic assembly testing, diagnostics, and maintenance activities for test equipment. This position demands technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication to maintain high-quality standards and contribute to the company's long-term success.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Change Implementation: Implement changes for test equipment to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Test Process Maintenance: Maintain and upgrade test processes and equipment, including calibration and variant changes.
Timely Implementation: Implement test equipment promptly to support manufacturing operations.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work within a team environment to resolve issues and meet manufacturing goals and milestones.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the calibration and maintenance of test equipment, acting as the first responder for breakdowns.
Operator Training: Provide training and support to production operators for effective equipment usage.
Supplier Collaboration: Engage with test equipment suppliers directly to address issues and implement improvements.
IT Systems Maintenance: Maintain and support test and business IT systems.
Documentation Management: Update and create work instructions, risk assessments, and operator training documents.
Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives for test processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Technical Authority Person (TAP): Serve as the competent person for production, ensuring compliance and safe working practices.
Skills and Experience: Experience: Significant experience in a manufacturing test environment with knowledge of automated test equipment.
Education: HNC/HND or Engineering Degree in an electrical/electronic-related discipline.
Technical Proficiency: Understanding of test equipment and ability to address technical issues effectively.
EHS Compliance: Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety compliance standards.
HVDC Product Testing: Familiarity with HVDC product testing processes is advantageous.
Collaborative Skills: Ability to interact with others, share knowledge, and work effectively within a team.
Additional Skills: Understanding of IT requirements for test system integration, experience with Ni TestStand/LabVIEW, knowledge of advanced manufacturing methods, and familiarity with ISO standards are beneficial.
Desired Characteristics: Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Proactive Approach: Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a focus on problem-solving and root cause identification.
Deadline-Oriented: Ability to work to deadlines without compromising quality.
Language Proficiency: Proficient in English, written and verbal; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.

Previous Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing test environment supporting and maintaining production test equipment is preferred.
