Key Responsibilities as a Project Surveyor:
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in various facets of project management. Your responsibilities as a Project Surveyor will include:
Production of meticulous budgets
Strategic procurement and tendering
Efficient management of resources, utilities, and consultants
Preparation and processing of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
Facilitation of project review meetings
Evaluation of project and budget progress, implementing corrective measures where necessary
What You will need:
Degree qualification in building or quantity surveying
Member of the Chartered Institute of Building is desirable
Minimum 5 years proven experience
Organisational ability
Experience of cost reporting procedures, CVR
Knowledge and user of a construction database, Sitestream, EQUE2 Housebuilding
Superior written and verbal communication
Sound judgement
Analytical skills
Detail-oriented, problem solver
Comfortable working under pressure and with competing demands
In-depth knowledge and understanding of construction terminology
