Account Manager/Digital Producer

A fantastic opportunity awaits an experienced Account Manager or Digital Producer, to oversee a diverse client portfolio with a strong emphasis on digital product and website delivery. Establishing advisory relationships with clients is key to understanding their challenges and objectives, enabling tailored solutions and overseeing project execution while reporting on achievements.
We require an experienced agency professional who works on delivering digital products, websites and continuous improvement programmes. With a deep understanding of UX principles, user journeys, content architecture, and conversion strategies, to ensure solutions align with objectives. Collaborating closely with UX designers and engineers is essential for meeting client goals.
Ideal candidates will possess client and project management experience, proficient at scoping and planning the delivery of digital engineering projects. Preferably within a digital agency and a proven track record in sales, client retention, and growth. Excellent client-facing skills, organisational prowess, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication abilities are a must. Adaptability is key in our fast-paced environment, where you'll manage multiple projects and work streams. A a willingness to embrace new technologies, channels, and thought leadership, are essential traits for success in this role.
Salary: £40,000 - 60,000k
Hybrid - 2 days a week in our Southampton or London office.
Responsibilities:
Handle key client account management
Work towards becoming a trusted advisor, with a strategic understanding of clients’ brands, their business, and their customers, while staying abreast of market changes.
Manage, shape, and most importantly grow relationships with clients, supporting them to drive further growth, and be an integral partner in helping them reimagine their business, and respond to the complex and extensive challenges that they face, at scale.
Work with strategic, design and technical teams to proactively develop new ideas that will benefit the client’s business
Run new project meetings and discovery workshops
Scope and manage marketing, strategic, CX and development projects (support given by internal teams depending on your skills)
Manage and implement continuous improvement and website projects
Report on a monthly basis
Manage client and internal stakeholders
Work closely with technical and design teams to develop and implement solutions
Clearly document client requirements in written internal briefs and strategic account plans
Ensure all members of the team understand the objectives of the client
Coordinate the team and project, in order to get the right people in front of the client at the right time, understanding that knowledge is key and fills the gaps ahead of the client’s needs.
Be involved with new business activities, approaching these with both a creative and commercial mindset.
Person Specification
5+ years experience in a similar role in a consultancy or agency specifically working with a web design/development team.
Strong strategic capability, and broad experience across digital, B2C & B2B client projects.
Driven to get to know our clients personally, frequently interacting with key stakeholders to understand any issues, and able to turn them into tangible briefs, and to proactively come back and truly inspire them
Organised with your own and others time to achieve deadlines
Excellent track history with client retention and growth
Fast, credible and quick to provide superlative client experience and communications
Understands the goals and priorities of the client, the competitive landscape (strengths and weaknesses)
Ready to go the extra mile for clients, fostering a rapid and deep level of trust
Maintains profitable accounts and actively seeks ways to up sell products and services
Have the ability to quickly identify business challenges, and the strategic thinking to address them
Exemplary presentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication.
Provides an effective bridge between the client and the Etch team within the business.
Have a sense of ownership and responsibility for deliverables
Comfortable in managing multiple clients and projects under pressure.
